We want you to know exactly how our review was put together and what it is based on.

Research, not hands-on testing

We have not physically tested the RapidHeat Heater. Our review is based on information published by the seller, product images supplied to us, and general, well-established principles of electric heating.

How we treat claims

• Seller-stated: details the seller publishes, such as power settings and features. We report them but cannot confirm them.
• Not published: details we looked for but could not find, such as dimensions, IP rating and warranty length.
• Unverified marketing claims: heating speed, savings figures and customer ratings are not repeated as fact.

Running-cost calculations

We use power (kW) × hours × unit rate. Our example rate is 27p per kWh, which is roughly typical of recent UK tariffs. Your own rate will differ. Figures assume full power and are worst-case estimates, not measurements.

Comparisons

We compare general heater types on the same criteria. We don't make claims about rival brands we have not researched.
